Hey there,
I've got a J4 site which I upgraded a while back to J4.06 and it still works perfectly but there are some niche flaky things in the admin section, namely that the "Checking Joomla" box doesn't realise there are newer J4 versions to update to, and that when clicked it will eventually timeout to a 404 error.
There are also some language string glitches such as "PLG_USER_TERMS_LOGGING_CONSENT_TO_TERMS" in the Latest Actions instead of whatever it's supposed to be.
I'm thinking that the last version update didn't quite get applied properly, and I would attribute this to the version of PHP that was running at the time. The PHP is now 8.1.29. (Can't remember what version I upgraded to J4.06 from but it can only be a minor patch level thing as this site was created on a fresh J4 install.)
What I'm wanting to ask and check before proceeding is: will downloading and applying the full file set for J4.4.6 (minus the installation directory) fix this?
Thanks in advance.
